According to Islamic dietary laws, Zabiha meat is permissible for
Muslims. Zabiha (Arabic term) is the Islamic method of
slaughtering Halal animals to make them permissible for
consumption. Zabiha rules are derived from the Quran and Sunnah
and are believed to cause the least pain to animals.
Halal (lawful) animals must be slaughtered in the name of Allah by
a sound mind adult by hand, and all the blood should be drained to
make it free from free of harmful ingredients to be considered
Zabiha.
In Islam, Halal means lawful and permissible for consumption. In contrast, Haram means Forbidden food, ingredients that are not permissible for consumption.
Mushbooh is an Arabic word, and it means doubtful. In the Islamic diet code, Mushbooh signifies all the food and meat about which one cannot be sure of its halal status. So Muslims need to avoid Mushbooh food. Meat can be Mushbooh if its slaughtering is not according to the Islamic method. Similarly, all products (food ingredients, meat, cosmetic, and medicinal products) with unknown manufacturing sources will be considered Mushbooh.
Haram means 'Forbidden.' All food substances that include forbidden ingredients and their derivatives are Haram according to the fold of Islam. Haram food includes Alcohol, Pork, unclean animals, animals-sources derived food additives, and non-Zabiha meat. In addition, the meat of sick, injured, poisoned animals and animals not slaughtered in the name of Allah are Haram. Similarly, Glycerin is Halal only if manufactured from vegetable oils; otherwise, Haram is made from animal sources.
